Nominations and Elections
The founders of the International Association of Professional Farriers spent countless hours in developing the organizational structure of the association. They were able to research the bylaws and structure of numerous other associations. They also received input from executives of other associations. One area of concern was the nomination and election of directors and officers.
It was determined that the best way to provide ongoing leadership to the association, would be to offer staggered terms for directors. Directors would be elected for a two-year term and be eligible for one re-election (maximum of 4 consecutive years). Directors would either be nominated by fellow members, the Nominating & Election Committee, or be self-nominated. Directors would be voted upon and elected by the entire membership.
Officers would be nominated and elected by the directors. The president and vice-president would serve two year terms, while the treasurer would serve a three-year term.

Voting will end on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. EST.
Each member should have received an email on November 2, 2023, and again on November 29, 2023, with their link to vote in the election.

This link is encoded specifically for each member to ensure that each member can only participate once. The link included in this email can only be used by the designated member, so it cannot be shared and used by others. You'll need to log in using your IAPF Username and Password. However, you can also find the election ballot on our website (instead of using link in email) by logging in to our website at www.ProfessionalFarriers.com, clicking on "Member's View", logging in again, then open the “Engagement” drop down menu and select “Elections”, where you will be able to view any elections in which you are eligible to vote.
