AAPF/CAPF APPOINTS NEW COMMITTEE CHAIRPERSONS
Jeff Ridley APF CJF TE, president of the American and Canadian Associations of Professional Farriers (AAPF/CAPF), has announced today the appointment of three new committee chairs for the associations. Additionally, Jeff extends his deepest appreciation to retiring committee chairmen Dave Dawson APF, Scott Lampert APF and Doug Workman APF CJF.Terry Osborne APF CJF of Carleton Place, Ontario has been named the chairman of the Continuing Education Committee. Terry and the CE Committee have been charged with the further development and enhancements of the AAPF/CAPF Continuing Education program.
Susan Gwen of Center Moriches, New York has been appointed as chairperson of the Alliances Committee. The task of this committee is the development of educational marketing alliances with various equine associations.
Jeff has appointed Ward Edwards APF of Stirling, Ontario as the chairman of the Information Technology Committee. Ward and his committee will be responsible for the enhancement and promotion of the AAPF/CAPF website and social media presence.
As the AAPF/CAPF continues to grow (over 435 members) in its 14 months of existence, the Board of Directors is pleased to extend opportunities for its membership to volunteer to serve on the various committees within the associations.
